Richard Bayley was originally brought into Silicon Valley Builders to take over my position as project manager. Later his role at the company broadened to include business development and investor relations. Richard was a joy to work with, as he was very attentive, detail-oriented and enthusiastic about taking over my responsibilities as project manager. I moved laterally into another position and worked regularly with Richard to keep things rolling for the company. Richard is a conscientious and dedicated person who is great with follow-up. He worked smoothly and effortlessly with co-workers, vendors, and home-owners. Its obvious he cares about people and cares about the company he works for. I heartily recommend Richard Bayley as an asset to any team he joins.

I worked with Richard at Antec and was impressed with his professionalism. He managed a lean, diversified staff that was selling a broad line of stock and custom PC power supplies, enclosures and accessories. That was a period where individuals and integrators proudly assembled their own configurations from the best modules available. Antec was a leading brand in those categories, but there was an abundance of domestic and offshore suppliers competing for every customer order. He had to be able to convince customers that price was not the only evaluation criteria...that better quality, more reliable delivery, faster turn on customizing all were worth a bit of premium. That is a difficult situation when buyers, mostly VARS/integrators and quantity trade buyers, were very price sensitive...especially when those items were considered more commodity than proprietary. His team competed against global suppliers, yet was able to meet/exceed their numbers. Richard was able to succeed by selling himself first and then the Antec/OEM product lines.
