Richard Bartges was my main contact in the Weld Shop. I managed the procurement of all tooling and supplies at our division of Baker Hughes at the time we worked together and Richard was the guy who I went to to set up what was needed to be replenished and identify what to never run out of. When it came time to try new product, he was my point man since I had very little knowledge of welding, and he always came through to inform me what was working and what was not. Sad that our time ended at Baker Hughes, some of the the best years working in the Oil and Gas Industry were spent there, but Richard is your guy for welding and a damn fine fella to know. JG
