  Duties handled are as follows:• Monitoring and Evaluation of Projects• Scoping of assigned projects and preparation of work scope in line with terms of reference for new construction or rehabilitation.• Preparation of Bill of Quantities for the project.• Initiating and facilitating contracting processes.• Prepare a detailed work programme for the project.• Ensure that assigned construction activities are carried out according to schedule, within construction budget and meeting HSE and quality requirements.• Review and publish prices of construction materials and labour rates for Community health-related projects.• Check constructability and completeness of construction packages and provide feedback for improvements in a structured way.• Laiase with contractors in assessing risks, implement mitigating measures and to resolve such issues as may prevent timely completion of assigned work..• Obtain proper authorisation and manage changes which occur during the construction phase of the assigned works.• Ensure pro-active management of construction interfaces and maintain a good relationship with other asset holders.• Ensure proper As- Built drawings are maintained and submitted by contractor or in-house construction crew.• Laiase with contractor to determine best work approach and ensure that work is delivered to specified quality.• Act as the focal point for providing reports / documents showing that specifications have been adhered to while executing the project.• Update the company on the progress of construction activities and process requests for interim payment for works executed.• Arrange handover and close out of projects and end of construction activities.• Feedback lessons learned in construction for incorporation in new designs.• Maintain global standards in all health-related infrastructure and utilities.• Undertake preventive and re-active maintenance of all health-related infrastructure and utilities to ensure functionality.
