    • Undergraduate Consultancy Project
      • Sep 2016 - May 2017

As part of my final year studies at Northumbria University, i took part in the 'Undergraduate Consultancy Project.' This is an alternative option to the traditional undergraduate dissertation that you are required to take in your final year. This is part of Newcastle Business School’s drive to improve graduate employability by enhancing personal and professional development. The UGC programme involves helping real organisations with real life problems they are facing in their business environment. I was linked with 'The Healthcare Holiday', a UK based online portal with a global audience specifically in the health and wellness tourism market. This company provide resources in terms of information on travel and health news, advisories, innovations and developments from all corners of the globe. The client had issues with implementing a marketing strategy to attract web traffic and also to increase consumer interaction through social media. As part of a team we had to conduct primary and secondary research into the market [competitors, size, product/service rang], the company itself and also consumer behaviour within this market. My responsibilities included social media management [content update, interaction activities etc], secondary research analysis, the creation and distribution of a primary research survey, creative mind mapping to offer possible solutions to issues and finally constant communication between the client an our team to maintain a positive relationship and satisfaction on her behalf. I have improved my team working skills, organisational and communication skills with team members and the client on a professional level. Show less
