Professional, motivated, big heart is how I would describe Mr. Rich Krummen. He carries himself with pride and determination. Rich understand team work, first as a United States Marine he lead many projects and was a team leader that motivated and got the most out of the men he was in charge. Second as a Deputy Sheriff with the Hamilton County Sheriffs Office. Rich worked third shift while obtaining his police certification during the day. Rich was often called to disorderly individual due his way of deescalating situation that others found difficult. Next as a police officer for the City of Norwood. Rich revived many awards, but the one that stands out is giving tickets to Xavier basketball games to kids who showed improvement in schools. He worked as a mentor for some of the most difficult students and found away to work with educators to reward the students who improved throughout the year. Due to an on duty injury , Rich was forced to retire. Still invoked with the local F.O.P , Rich gives back through charity work and compassion. Rich would be the a great part of any team. He builds people up, meets them on their level and continues to serve.
