Lead Linux and Os X administrator engineer of the Corporate IT team. The aim of my position was to provide remote maintenance, consolidation, hardening and security policies to all the internal servers and workstations. My main responsibilities: • VDI project based on VMware Horizon - In charge of developing a Linux workstation template, remotely maintained using technologies such as Ansible, Ansible Tower, Satellite 6. The farm of VMs was hosted on a VMware ESXi cluster. These virtual desktops were the workstation systems used for development, testing and QA. • Implementation of Parallels management for SCCM - This is a plugin that expands Microsoft SCCM capabilities for Os X based device management; my job was to replicate as closely as possible the GPOs implemented in AD, ensuring that all Macs would be patched, secured, and hardened following the company’s guidelines. • Consolidation of all internal Linux server configuration - Update, consolidate and implement remote management for a number of internal servers that were not maintained in a centralized manner.
