  VODAFONE - ONO is implementing CatchUP and the cDVR (cloud based PVR) functionalities. My main responsibility is to ensure the VoD and linear head end workflow. This includes ingestion of ADI’s and mezzanine files, encoding of different bitrates per presets on Harmonic encoders, ingestion of assets in ALU DVR Manager (which includes VOD, NPVR and Rolling buffers) until content gets ingest in Kaltura (Content Management System). Also part of my responsibility is to ensure all network connectivity, as well as communication between all parties involved to ensure all functionalities are specifications are met.

  NAGRA - Working together with the Taiwan Nagra team, my mail goal was to improve the KBRO platform configuration and performance and solve present issues. Issues were identified, corrected and solution was implemented. These included upgrades, changes on platform configurations. In addition I was responsible for creating documentation and procedures for KBRO (customer) and Nagra employees. My activities also included training of Nagra’s KBRO solution to Nagra’s and KBRO employees. I was responsible for various equipment such as CMS, SDP, CIS, CDN, Nagra DRM, Video Server etc.

  UNITYMEDIA - My main responsibility was to manage all VOD content for the Horizon STB’s. In addition to this I was responsible for troubleshooting the head end, which included equipment such as Prodis, Traxis, Poster servers, CDMC’s, PS (personalization store), Auth (Authentication servers) etc.

  NAGRA - Working on the Nagra team my goal was to implement, integrate and monitor the multi operator ABRA OTT cloud solution program (Nagra and Abertis). Creating new operators and managing all content on this multi operator system, including CMS (Content Management System), SDP (Service Delivery Platform), CIS (Content Ingestion Server) and CDN (Content Delivery Network). ABRA can generate and deliver live channels and on demand content in different streaming protocols (HLS, Smooth Streaming), protected with Nagra PRM and Microsoft PlayReady DRMs. Different devices such as PCs, smartphones, tablets and STBs are supported in the platform. Also part of my activities was to train Nagra employees how to implement, integrate and test this Nagra’s solution.
