      Class: Tourism & Heritage Management; Critical Issues in Tourism A; 地域観光戦略論B:「観光資源としての巡礼の可能性」.When preparing the class plans and contents, I utilize elements of Active Learning to deliver engaging classes to the students and help them during their learning process. Some of the elements I have utilized during my classes and other educational activities include 「グループワークをともなう学習」, 「学生による発表をともなう学習」, 「学生自らが合理的な解を導き出す学習」, 「体験学習」, and 「学生自らが実施する調査やトレーニングを必要とする学習」. Publications of journal articles, research notes, and book chapters on topics such as cross-cultural tourism studies, heritage tourism, visitor motivation, and wellness tourism. Chief book editor for "Host communities and pilgrimage sites", with a team of Japanese and international authors and editors. To be published by Springer in 2023. Participation at Japanese and international conferences as speaker and session chair in Japan, New Zealand, Vietnam, and South Korea (in Japanese, English, and Spanish). Fieldwork activities in relevant heritage destinations in Kansai area (Japan), including Kumano Kodo, Koyasan, and Katsuragi Shugen. Fieldwork activities included interviews with main tourism stakeholders, interviews with visitors, and participant observation. Collaborative activities with private and public tourism stakeholders for regional tourism development.
