  Provide leadership for the development and implementation of programs, curriculum, services and initiatives that promote inclusion, diversity, equity, social justice and enhance the retention of students of color and other diverse populations at the college; Disseminate information and facilitate ongoing dialogue regarding current trends in diversity and retention issues; Serve on the college’s President's Committee on Diversity and Retention (PCDR) and liaison with instructional areas, student services, administrative services and the broader Seattle and Washington State communities; Provide leadership in the areas of campus climate and institutional effectiveness; Facilitates research analysis and grant funding in support of diversity initiatives; Supervises the staff, student staff and facilities of college’s Cultural Center and Women's Center; and Facilitates and coordinate ongoing opportunities for professional development and in-service training/workshops for faculty, staff, and administrators regarding diversity and retention issues.
