Provided shareholder point of contact and administered payments to shareholders.• Oversaw revenue increase by multiple of 4, with net income over same period increasing by factor of 11 with company being profitable in all years. • Led HR growth of 30%, with 100 staff at time of acquisition.• Managed provincial government contracts (Master Service Agreements) for 5 provinces, designing and implementing financial and administrative controls for all agreements.• Provided hands-on collection and presentation of due-diligence information for several possible company sales, as well as during TELUS purchase, meeting all deadlines, working closely with TELUS, Med Access CEO, Senior Managers, tax specialists and legal counsel. • Managed preparation of all accounting data and administrative functions for conversion to TELUS SAP accounting system, ensuring successful SAP system reliance in December 2014 with over 1,000 contracts and monthly billings efficiently and accurately transferred.

Administered all HR functions, including recruiting, compensation, performance reviews. Managed all contracts including SATCOM service provider, as well as the Transport Canada relationship.• Managed purchase of commercial property and relocation of company from Penticton to Kelowna by working closely with company President / Owner and real estate agent, resulting in a solid investment for President / Owner personally. • Oversaw financing for buyout of minority shareholder, resulting in 100% ownership for President.• Led and maximized federal research and development funding (IRAP, SR&ED), current and previous years, resulting in fully refundable tax credits of over one hundred thousand dollars over 4 years of claims. • Updated unreliable financial reporting system via software conversion to ACCPAC, providing organization with an improved, growth-oriented, efficient, and robust reporting system. • Created and managed budgeting cycle model, enabling evaluation of different aspects of business (hardware manufacturing vs recurring communications revenue for instance).

Provided financial management and reporting for restaurant and sports bar chain of 20 franchise and 25 corporate stores across Canada with annual sales of approximately $45M. Reported to Vice President of Finance for Northland Properties Corporation (Sandman Hotels, Denny’s restaurants, construction, and property management). Directly managed 8 accounting staff.• Managed software conversion to corporate SBT (ACCPAC Pro) system over Citrix server within 6 months of joining company and re-engineered budgeting and F9 financial reporting system to integrate to SBT software, improving timeliness, efficiency, and accuracy of reporting in a highly financially controlled environment.• Brought financial reporting system from more than 6 months behind to current by instituting “damage control” protocol for months of reporting in arrears, and essentially “rebooting” the accounting system.• Re-engineered and integrated Shark Club accounting system to match Moxie’s, simplifying consolidation and improving timeliness and accuracy of reporting.
