I worked directly under Rhys at JumpCloud for a good part of my tenure and I could not have asked for anything more from a leader. For Rhys, people always came first, and he had always been extremely supportive. He played an outstanding role being the voice of the team, listening to engineers, promoting ideas, identifying focus areas and prioritizing them with the team's input. For me personally, there had been several occasions when Rhys's support made my professional life so much easier, also gave me a chance to balance personal priorities at times when I needed the most. Rhys is also technically very strong. At Jumpcloud I grew the software operations and cybersecurity teams from a few engineers to 5 teams totaling 30 engineers in under 2 years. Responsible for hiring, building and developing those teams and staff through hands-on technical contribution and providing process driven structure as the company moved through a hyper-growth stage.
