Experience

    • Undergraduate Researcher
      • Apr 2021 - Present

We investigated the role of donor derived-cell free DNA (dd-cfDNA) in detection of subclinical rejection (subAR) in pediatric kidney transplant recipients. I presented our abstract at the Eastern Society for Pediatric Research and American Federation for Medical Research (ESPR/AFMR) joint conference as first author (Dr. Xiaoyan Wu, MD, PhD - Co-Author). Our abstract was published by the conference committee in April 2022 in the Journal of Investigative Medicine. Our manuscript was published in February 2023 in the International Journal of Nephrology and Kidney Failure. We have since submitted two additional abstracts, focusing on adult kidney transplant recipients with a similar objective, to the ESPR/AFMR joint conference and the American Transplant Congress (ATC) 2023. I presented our abstracts as first author at the ESPR/AFMR joint conference in March 2023 in Philadelphia and at the ATC in June 2023 in San Diego. Show less
