Rhys is a very knowledgeable, open and engaging recruiter. He really does his best for his candidates and separates the wheat from the chaff when it comes to both them and his clients. I started working with Rhys since April 2022, when I reached out to him randomly on Linkedin to connect. He booked time with me asap with no delays. His speed and customer facing skills was the no 1 quality I selected to work with him. From there Rhys was always well prepared for the meetings, took a lot of notes and never seemed to sell or try to overpromise things (which is always the case with many recruiters). He was always focused, humble and honest. He is definitely a recruiter who listens well instead of speaking too much. The roles we were hiring for are very niche and hard to place due to high quality hiring process we set based on the Silicon Valley standard. There were a lot of rejected candidates, but Rhys never gave up, always asked for feedback and kept sourcing great candidates. I was initially concerned to work with agency in EMEA as I heard that 90% of the time recruiters give up and never get back to you after you (client) reject a number of candidates. This was definitely not the case with Rhys, he is very committed till the end. Another thing which impressed me was that Rhys continuously received high response rates from top candidates. This shows that Rhys is able to engage with candidates rather than just messaging based on the high volume which normally is not effective. Last but not least the impact Rhys made was we hired 2 great candidates in Germany. I can highly recommend Rhys to any company who is looking for a capable recruiting partner.
