      I am responsible for leading and developing information services and supporting innovative teaching programs that help promote staff and student knowledge, the inquiry research process, technology skills, digital citizenship and a love of literature and reading. • Manage and oversee the operations of the library. Lead library meetings. • Develop policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of all aspects of the Library Services • Encourage and support the incorporation of information literacy skills through cooperatively planned units of work with teaching staff for students • Assist with curriculum differentiation and personalised learning through collaboration with teaching staff • Promote the ethical use of information and resources and promote an awareness of copyright laws among staff and students • Participate on key school committees • Attend departmental meetings, where appropriate, to share expertise and resources • Ensure that the library provides an inviting, innovative environment that is conducive to learning • Maintain an information literacy skills continuum and advocate for and promote independent, inquiry-based learning across the school • Ensure that the Library Services meet the requirement of the School registration standards Show less
