Nothing is business as usual as the Foundation is evolving with the changing needs of Wylie ISD. Her love for supporting educators in a big way has her chairing the annual gala - Boots ‘N Barbecue. I had the good fortune to participate in several of the four-hour long workshops on effective teaching that Rhonda prepared and ran as Associate Provost of UTD. I had wanted to be an educator before I went to these workshops; I learned HOW to be an educator through them. Rhonda was informative, engaging, organized, and enthusiastic. She led by example, and even today, I try to emulate her in my own teaching.
