Robert has an entrepreneurial spirit that sets him apart from others. He has the drive to do and be better, to excel, and to inspire others to do the same. Communicates well and integrates challenging new ideas into his work to create positive change.

I had the privilege of bringing Robert onto the Student Success team to bring a forward thinking, innovative approach to student success for online and non-traditional students. Robert has not disappointed! He has consistently offered student-centered programs that increase completion rates, connectedness to the school, all while keeping budgets in check. Robert brings a diverse skill set to his work. I have personally seen his presentation, leadership, and ideation skills applied to student programming, campaigning, budgeting, marketing, as well as many other areas. It was freeing to know that Robert will bring his very best to each project so that I could focus on accomplishing my areas of responsibility. A forward-thinker, a capable leader, and an all-around great man to interact with!

Robert is an exceptional individual and demonstrates real passion in his work. In 2015 I hired him on a student life specialist at Purdue University Global because he showed a lot of great potential as an up and coming student affairs professional. During that time I was impressed with his work ethic and sincere interest in providing students and alumni with exceptional service. I was also very proud of him for returning back to school and completing a masters in higher education while working full time and becoming a new father. While working together Robert helped me develop an alumni mentor program which gained the attention of colleagues at Northwestern University at the time who were also in the process of developing their own mentor program. He served as staff advisor to several of the registered student organizations. He helped with training and development of student organization leaders and supported the student advisory board. During graduation, Robert assisted with handing out honor society and academic regalia to new graduates, and helped me distribute our alumni newsletter booklet which captured the accomplishments of our graduates, and informed them of the services and resources available to them from the university. Although we no longer work at the same institution, we have continued to stay in touch, and I have watched him continue to do great things and advance in the field. It makes me very proud and excited to have been a part of his professional journey and I know he will continue to do great things.
