Rogelio (or Roi) had been with Styler for a year already when I joined as a senior developer. As I quickly took over as the engineering manager I ended up working with Roi more as a manager than as a peer but even then we had many conversations about solutions and problems in the iOS app that I really enjoyed. Roi helped build a small team of three to develop the FACY app for iOS and I know his two reports enjoyed working with him a lot and also learned from it. Not only did he facilitate the team very well internally but also, he ran a tight ship and it was the most bug-free on time scrum team I've seen. Of course, it means scope was cut and tickets were moved out but, consistency and quality can often trump having that one extra story in. This way of running the team speaks a lot for Roi's approach to coding. He's thorough and has a very high bar for quality. Both in code and in the product itself. I could always rely on him to question doubtful UX patterns and we ended up with a far better product for it. It is a joy working with Roi, he's a great fellow both in the office and outside.

Roi is a brilliant iOS engineer and team lead. One of the best people I have ever worked with. Discussions with him are very open. He welcomes feedback; always willing to listen to and learn from others. He is a good mentor; I learned so much from working with him. His genuine nature fosters an easy but highly productive team culture. Roi is constantly improving his skills and is always up to date with iOS news. Would surely love to work with him again.
