Modeled and Optimized a Bio-Diesel production plant from Waste Oil and Grease feedstock - Used feedstock was 1050 Kg/h waste oil (Assumed as Triolein) and 108 Kg/h Methanol - Resulted in yield of 998 Kg/h pure Biodiesel (over 99.7 %) - Simulation Software: Aspen Hysys (Licensed under University of Western Ontario, Thompson & Spencer Engineering Departments) - Simulation includes 2 Distillation towers which were used for separation of Methanol from Glycerol and Methyl Oleate (Bio-Diesel) and separation of Methyl Oleate (Bio-Diesel) from Triolein to obtain pure Bio-Diesel Product, respectively, 2 Fluidized Bed Reactors with 400 Kpa Pressure, 2 Heat Exchangers, 2 Scrubber units and Methanol circulation configuration.
