    • Community Chaplain
      • Sep 2021 - Present

The primary focus of this chaplaincy fellowship is to support the faith communities and local businesses on the near West side of Chicago increasing the capacity for spiritual care. Too often in spaces where wellness is important and a priority, spiritual wellness is missed. We often discuss physical, mental, and financial wellness, but in an effort not to offend we are silent when it comes to spirituality. I encourage spaces to make engagement in spiritual wellness available in the same ways they make engagement in other wellness opportunities available. As a Community Chaplain, I journey alongside persons of varied faith and those who have no faith practices at all. The ways in which I can offer support range from 1:1 spiritual care, coaching and counseling, mediation during times of conflict and group facilitation to communities impacted by trauma or distress. In addition, we offer are pre-marital counseling and grief counseling. Show less
