René has been running Relocation Africa in South Africa for 23 years and has a passion for dealing with International Assignees during their experience as an assignee. She has developed and delivered services ranging from as migration, cultural training, orientation, house and school search and settling-in services on the continent of Africa.René extended the services of Relocation Africa in 2005, to include Research into Africa which covers Cost of Living Surveys, Housing Surveys, School Surveys as well as Vehicle Surveys. Furthermore, Relocation Africa offers International Payroll and International Payment management services for countries in Africa. René is foremost an entrepreneur who has many diverse business interests and contributes to both the local South African Remuneration Industry as a member of SARA as well as infusing the ERC with some African exposure. René has represented the ERC EMEA committee (2005 - 2006), ERC Global Advisory committee (2007- 2008) and ERC Editorial committee (2006 - 2011). She has been an author for the Mobility Magazine, speaker at the Global Workforce Symposium 2007 and also sits on the SARA (South African Reward Association) IMG. Relocation Africa is a proud member of TIRA (The International Relocation Associates) and in 2016 she was elected as Vice President of the Association. Relocation Africa holds many prestigious awards, including the Cartus award for Commitment to Excellence (2014). Relocation Africa also won the EMEA Relocation Service Partner Award for The MI Group in 2014 and René was recognized for her valuable contribution as a partner advisor on The MI Group’s Worldwide Partner Network International Advisory Council (2014 – 2015).
