  Co-developed a prototype prediction software for the Road Policing Unit. The tool aims to predict when specific uninsured and untaxed drivers are at various locations. Process: 1. Number plates are read using computer vision from high-resolution traffic feeds 2. Timestamps and frequencies are collected for model training and forecasting 3. Registration plates are screened using the DVLA API for "of interest" vehicles 4. Predictions formed from analysed behaviour 5. Alerts sent out for high-probability events Show less

  I spent 10 weeks in Egypt building a children's education centre on a poverty-stricken island and teaching children English. I stayed in a cockroach-infested 2-bed apartment with 8 other guys and almost died. It was the most fun I’ve had in my life.   Underlying tech acquired by a US-based tuition company. TutorPal was the first platform where private tuition could take place online; it featured a digital whiteboard and webcam recording with playback capabilities. I started the website when I was 15 years old to make private tuition more affordable and safer for students. The site wasn't super successful but the underlying tech was acquired. I co-developed the website from scratch (more fun and headaches this way) using PHP, MySQL, jQuery, HTML, and CSS. This included the: database system, UI, request handling and identification process.
