As a community manager, I had a big part in facilitating the entrepreneurs 'dockers' with the best possible work environment with the tools at hand. Rocket Meetings developed an application to improve the quality of meetings. As a graduate intern at Rocket Meetings, I was responsible for market research in the care homes industry. My thesis was about finding out what problems the employee's experience during meetings and how they execute their meetings. The data out of the research is used as input for two things 1; Is the care home industry a viable market for the application and 2; Does the application needs improvement to serve this industry even better? From 1 February till the 20th of June I worked at Community Chest in Cape Town, South Africa. The Community Chest Is a fundraising company who organizes several events in Cape Town. I conducted a research to improve the different organisational processes of the Community Chest Carnival. The new improved structured and vision for the Community Chest Carnival leads to a better and financial sustainable event.
