  Responsible for building desktop and web-based operational tools for Arc Prospectus, a self-driven web- based product that allows financial clients to produce prospectus for various mutual funds and file it to SEC. * Wrote a web-optimized dll in C# called Pacer that accepts client’s documents in Excel and Word format. Using a transform file, Pacer converts these documents into an XML file that is fed into a typesetting application for creating PDF and Edgar HTML. * Developed a 3-tier web application to accept financial data from FundsuiteSX product installed in client sites. JQuery-based Front End UI communicates with C# Middle Tier using Rest web services. The Middle Tier communicates with SQL Server which hosts the data required for the application. * Wrote a highly intuitive WPF-based desktop product called RenderPad that allows end-users to author Transform files. The Transform file has the logic to convert client documents into an XML file for typesetting. * Working on developing a mobile website using JQuery-Mobile. This website will allow the users to track the status of their documents using their smart phones. * Used Microsoft Visio effectively during design sessions to communicate Pacer interactions with Arc Prospectus product. This helped iron out any design issues before development. * Organized and developed training sessions to train Product Services on the RenderPad product.   Responsible for building and maintaining front end interfaces for the Fundalign product, a SharePoint-based web portal for financial clients to produce their prospectus and reports for various mutual funds. * Developed AJAX based RSS viewer using JavaScript and an ASP.NET Soap web service. The RSS viewer displays the status of a document as it goes through various stages of automatic typesetting. JavaScript calls the web service using AJAX and displays the data returned from the web service. Kasturi Rengarajan Page 2 * Developed an ASP.NET web control for displaying site navigation menu. This control queries SharePoint and creates HTML and JavaScript for displaying the Menu in the browser. JavaScript is used for controlling the styles of various HTML elements used in the menu. * Developed Published Documents SharePoint web part for the Fundalign product to enhance user experience. This web part provides users with the status of all their documents under a SharePoint site. * Developed a web based Log/ Event viewer using JQuery for use within the Fundalign product. JQuery calls ASP.NET web page asynchronously and displays the data in a JQuery Grid control. * Developed several automated solutions in C#/LINQ to accept client's Performance and Financials data to be included in their shareholder reports/prospectus.   Responsible for critical frontend and backend components used within EMC Symmetrix Reporting (SYR) web application. * Developed a dial-home filtering application with C#/ SQL/ASP.NET to store and process user specified rules. Designed SQL database schemas to host user-specified rules and developed SQL stored procedures to process the rules. Developed web pages in ASP.NET for users to create/ modify the rules stored in the database. * Developed an Interpreter in Visual Basic and C++. This interpreter is used by engineers to write automated scripts for collecting data from EMC products. Modified open source Putty SSH to help engineers write automated scripts for Linux using the Interpreter. * Developed an automated reporting application in C# that uses Excel automation to export SQL Server data to Excel. The report is then emailed to users automatically. * Designed and developed a Java Applet based adhoc query builder. This applet allows advanced users to construct query expression like “and”, “or”, “not” and submit it to SQL server. Data returned from SQL server is displayed as a web page. * Developed Middle Tier COM components for Symmetrix reporting web application using C++. These components get called from an ASP.NET web page. Show less
