I co-taught at this nature camp that incorporates the arts and has a different science theme every week, with a focus on literacy, with three other instructors/teachers. The camp is run out of Tippecanoe Presbyterian Church in Bay View, but services students from all over the Greater Milwaukee Area. The camp aims to not only raise the students' levels of literacy, but also to teach the students about the importance of peace and building strong friendships, diversity, and acceptance through collaborating with students from various walks of life in the Milwaukee community.- Co-taught the students about the different science topics of each week, but we included various art projects and art forms to enrich their learning. - Archived the whole experience on video. - Edited the video into a promotional video to help the camp reach out to potential donors and contributors to the program for next summer, but also to help promote their wrap-around camp that will be taught throughout the school year.
