  Currently I am interning with the SGP on flood mitigation for Fernville and Shickshinny PA. These communities are constantly suffering from flood events. After the 2011 Hurricane Lee storms these communities are loosing a large amount of homes. We are working on planning new uses for these areas that will allow the land to be productive but suffer no to low impacts from future flooding events.
