I taught students from Grade 1 level to middle school at an after school English academy. For the younger students, we followed and immersion program and subjects such as Maths, Science and Social Studies were taught. For older students, we focused on skills such as Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening, as well as preparation for the TOEFL exams. I was employed as an English FAL educator. I became the Grade 8 coordinator and was responsible for all planning of tasks and assessments for the grade 8 group. During my time at Exclusive Books, I worked at 3 different branches, in both roles as a Night Staff Supervisor and a permanent Bookseller. As a supervisor, I had administrative duties such as staffing and scheduling as well as performing back office duties with regards to back ups and closing the store. As a bookseller, I did banking for 3 years so I am familiar with cash office procedures as well.
