As the assistant property manager, I manage a nine-property, 500,000+ square-foot portfolio of premium, class-A street-front retail, mixed-use retail and shopping center properties in Southern California. My clients include some of the largest CRE owners and developers in the country, and I oversee more than 60 tenants, from major national retailers to local boutiques. I produce the monthly and quarterly financial reports and the annual budgets that have helped earn my team recognition and company awards for keeping variances below 5%, and I have managed more than $1 million in capital improvement projects. During the pandemic, I renegotiated vendor contracts to reduce operating expenses, educated tenants on the PPP program, worked closely with tenants and clients to negotiate rent-relief agreements and worked with vendors to secure PPE to keep facilities operational and compliant with health-and-safety regulations.
