  Under minimum supervision, assists Director of Transload Operations with all aspects of constructing, maintaining, and operating Atlas Oil’s transload terminals. During pre-development of a site, works with local authorities, railroads, and other Atlas personnel on construction, permitting, and startup of terminal operations. During construction of a terminal site, oversees all contractors for quality and timeliness of work. Reviews and approves construction invoices for payment. For fully operational sites, supervises local Atlas personnel and manages day-to-day aspects of the transload operations. • Oversees all operational aspect for all Atlas transload sites. • Develops, implements, and ensures compliance with all HSSE standards internally as well as any customer requirements. • Manages development, coordination, and maintenance of logistics/ operational metrics and key performance indicators. • Assists and ensures the compliance of relevant regulations and standards. • Ensures back office data is maintained to insure internal reporting and standards are maintained. • Manages rail service provider performance process. Represents Atlas at site visits to prospective ethanol transloading locations to determine feasibility • Oversees all aspects of site new site construction and expansions including review and approval of contractor invoices • Coordinates all permitting to assure sites are in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations at all times, communicating future changes with Atlas-Houston and Atlas–Taylor. • Develops, trains and supervises all local Atlas employees, on transload manual, safety, and reporting requirements providing back up as necessary • Coordinates maintenance of all equipment and site improvements • Insures safety of all personnel on-site at all times • Helps maintains the security of terminals at all times Show less
