In this research, I work if well-known researchers in the International Business (IB) community to explore how multinationals in developed countries can contribute to the achievement of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, meeting the needs of vulnerable populations in emerging markets, while offering expectations of long-term economic returns for their shareholders. The research is sponsored and funded under a cooperation agreement between the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP, https://fapesp.br/en) and the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC, https://www.ukri.org/councils/esrc/) – a committee of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).My duties include: support in reviewing the relevant literature; training of young scholars; data collection (in person or online); analysis using qualitative methods; collaboration in writing scientific articles as well as other dissemination materials.

    • External Lecturer
      • Sep 2018 - Nov 2018

In 2017 and 2018, I was Visiting PhD Student at CBS. During my visit, I was appointed as External Lecturer to the department (INT/EGB) and gave a guest lecture in International Business (BA Business in Europe). As External Lecturer, I taught twice the statistical part in the course Business Research Methods (BSc International Business in Asia). This activity gave me an excellent introduction to the CBS teaching environment including the provision of course by departments for specific programmes, the role of study boards, the coordination by programme directors and managers, the course catalogue, planning of examinations, digital exam, CBS Learn (digital platform), feedback and the evaluation procedures. As External Lecturer, I prepared the lectures, tutorials, examinations, Q&A sessions, and graded examinations. This was an important learning experience. The Teacher Report for Business Research Methods (BASPO008U.LA_E18) shows my performance. In a scale of 5 points, the students “mostly agree” that the course was relevant (4.2); that Isucceeded in explaining and giving an overview of the content of the course (4.3); engaging the students (4.3), that my teaching was comprehensive (4.2) and I was overall assessed as a good teacher (4.4). Besides, I also embedded in the research environment through participation in research seminars and bi-lateral exchange with INT/EGB faculty and PhD students.
