Rena is a visionary leader with an utmost professional approach. She joined NAEC during a very challenging time and quickly instituted plans for short, medium, and long term improvements in all areas of the Association's operation. Rena executed on these plans, bringing welcome change and enhancements. Never one to stand in place, she introduced new plans and targets to replace completed items. All this while maintaining a focus on fiscal health of the Association. She has a fantastic ability to turn strategic guidance from others into action and I couldn't be a bigger fan. Thank you Rena!

Served in various management and development roles for the American Heart Association beginning in June, 2006. Supported local and regional field staff to implement strategies for fundraising and leadership to fully engage top-level corporations and major gift donors in mutually beneficial partnerships. Managing a $2.65million fundraising campaign, my team garnered significant success engaging corporate partners to activate multi-year cause partnerships for both Heart Society and Go Red initiatives. In my capacity as Senior Director, I worked with Division Board of Directors and Event Directors to implement strategies for local fundraising and educational programs, as well as noteworthy collaborative opportunities with other divisions and affiliates. I also served on the initial National Planning Task Forces for Individual Giving, Major Gifts, and the Heart Society.
