Rémi completed his internship with Eurofins Bay of Plenty in Katikati, New Zealand at the end of July. He joined the local Eurofins team to gain international work experience and have an opportunity to significantly contribute to the IT transformations of both our operations in New Zealand. Rémi, with great initiative and assisted by our IT Solutions Manager completed a full review of the calculation engine of our automated reporting tools with a very strong recommendation for a complete re-design to support in-house maintenance which could lead to significant cost savings for the operation. The quick acceptance and signoff from the IT team as well as our largest client Zespri meant that he could also lead the coding of this transformation project which was done in record time and within specification. Rémi, throughout this transformation project, delivered exceptional value to our team and was always professional, friendly, diligent and willing to assist in any way he could. His attitude towards his work and all related outcomes as well as his colleagues is his greatest asset and will serve him well in any future assignment.
