I have known and worked with Rem on creative projects for many, many years. It is always a great privilege to work with him. Rem has been (and will continue to be) my go-to for creative direction throughout my career, spanning a multitude of brands and industries. Simply because every time I have engaged him, the output has been meaningful, memorable, and effective. He has an amazing creativity and sensibility about him. He cares so greatly about what he delivers for his clients because he has such passion for their brands and their mission.

I’ve been working with Rem for 2 decades because he consistently produces communication that delivers. Rem can work anywhere along the communication continuum - from the creation of emotionally engaging brand and marketing platforms, through to tactical activations that produce more immediate cut-through and response - and right across the spectrum of media and touchpoints. If you need someone who delivers communication that connects, I’d send you in Rem’s direction.

We have been working with Rem for over 3 years. Rem has transformed our brand into one that stands for something and doesn't try to be all things to everyone. Through the DNA process, Rem took our team through one of the most critical experiences we have ever completed in our company's 8 year history. Today Wearthy is a well known name in the sector and Rem continues to step in as our Creative Director each time we grow & our creative needs evolve. Funnily enough i found Rem through LinkedIn and I'm so glad I did - who knows where we would be or what we would be called without him!

Everyday Hero has been a labour of love. In my role as Creative Director my work has been focused around how to better assist charities with their online peer to peer fundraising. From communicating new offerings to them B2B to helping them devise their own external comms and Social media campaigns, to creating cause related marketing strategies for charities' corporate sponsors, Everyday Hero operates in a unique and specialised space. Ok, so I wrote a detailed account of my time with Make and but it failed to upload. And I had work to do and still do... so there's was this glaring hole in the timeline of my professional career begging questions like an episode of 'Lost'. Ha ha... I'll get to it eventually, but in a nutshell it was a great time with great talented people. We innovated a lot and were recognised for doing so through numerous industry effectiveness and creativity awards. That will have to do for now :) Ok, so I wrote a detailed account of my time with Make and but it failed to upload. My time a McCann Erickson was one I will treasure forever, for I was part of an era which was truly special. Not only was McCann Brisbane's number 1 creative agency during my time as CD, it was also in the top 2 for effectiveness and business growth. We created notable campaigns for clients such as RACQ Insurance, Brisbane Marketing, Conrad Treasury, Jupiters Casino, Queensland Newspapers, Michael Hill Jeweller, Brisbane City Council and many other clients. We took out Best of Show at BADC every year of my Creative Directorship. One year I recall that we were awarded for every single discipline across every client we had. It was a time of incredible success which I believe was born out of a wonderful work culture. We had 60 people truly united around a clear central organising purpose for the agency.Team members from that era look back at it as 'Camelot'. I was privileged to be part of the exceptional leadership team that steered the agency to this success. During this time I was also part of McCann Erickson's Asia Pacific Creative Council charged with improving the quality of output in the region. Favourite work authored/creative directed during this time - RACQ Insurance - 'We help you wherever we can' campaign featuring one of Queensland's most popular ads of all time "Charter Boat? What Charter Boat" which has over 30 separate fan pages on Facebook and over 25 thousand 'likes'. Brisbane Marketing - 'Sleepy Little Town' campaign. Conrad Treasury - 'Ever Surprising' campaign including the 'It's not exactly Treasury' TV campaign. Courier Mail - 'Someone's going to win a BMW, don't let it be him/her' campaign. Sunday Mail - 'Coastguard, coastguard, coastguard' radio Hear and Say Centre - 'What is that sound?' TVC
