At Salvation Army, I took part in a suicide prevention project for the Auburn community called, 'Together for Hope'. The project was meant to spread awareness about mental health and linking individuals and families who are victims of suicide and mental health problems to the rightful services available. During my time at Salvation Army, I managed the 'Together for Hope', FaceBook page by replying to messages, posting articles and resources to promote mental health. I also helped identify programs that can be commenced to enhance them together for hope program. I was also privileged to be part of the Bushfire relief team. This included taking calls and conducting assessments for people affected by the tragic bushfires. And providing referrals for other services such as temporary housing, and counseling services.
