Achievements in Dubai Holding: - I have joined Dubai Holding group in June 2018 as Assistant Manager Receivable, Revenue & VAT, however based on my performance I have been promoted to next grade (Manager) in March 2019. Since Joining the Dubai Holding, I have consistently achieved 4+ Performance Appraisal Rating. Designed and implemented accounting policies for cash management, VAT and accounts receivables functions. VAT Health Check – In July 2019 successfully completed the VAT health check exercise across the group to ensure that group’s tax obligations were sufficiently being met and which is found to be VAT Law compliant and resulted in the successful VAT refund by the FTA. Proactively, identified VAT compliance inherited issue and corrected/adjusted the retrospective VAT returns before the FTA audit started which potentially saved significant FTA penalties. Customer Satisfaction Improvements – After taking over the role, SD refund turnaround time (KPIs) has been improved significantly and no single complaint (delay by Finance) has been received since Aug 2018. After joining DHAM I have successfully made several ERP/Yardi Implementations and system enhancements which resulted in the efficiency of teams and completeness/accuracy of financial data.
