Regis is an excellent professional, with a high level of responsibility and always focused on results. As colleague on Addax Exploration Department, he showed to be a fully competent geophysicist, open minded to adopt new perspectives and never afraid about new challenges. Also, he is used to work in a multicultural environment, a great team player always ready to support with ideas and technical proposals, ready to hear about other’s opinion in order to find out the best solution. It was a pleasure to work with him.

Oryx Petroleum was a start-up in E&P, and part of the Addax & Oryx Group, with a major focus in acquiring assets in Africa and the Middle East. To date Oryx is participating in 7 blocks in AGC(Senegal), Congo, Nigeria, Iraq & Kurdistan. In less than 2 years with Oryx we have evaluated more than 150 different opportunities, spanning from bidding on major production assets, to exploration block to buying oil & gas companies. Was a key contributor in helping building the company from 4 employees to more than 40, and negotiating and acquiring PSC's - building a balanced exploration portfolio, and setting up some of the operations. Helped setting-up the company with early in-country contacts and connections, consultancy contracts, hiring staff, software & hardware, etc...Another large part of my duties consisted in interacting with Oil Ministries and regulatory bodies; I actually spend a fair amount of time representing the company with partners, government officials and Oil Ministry (PSC negotiation, JOA, Shareholder Agreement, etc), and representing the company at TCM & OCM.Managed all of Oryx Geophysical Operations (Acquisition & Processing) with preparation, tendering, logistics and acquisition of 2 large seismic programs, 2D and 3D acquisition in Senegal and Iraq. First-line Approver for all New Ventures & Geophysical Operations, such as budget, AFE, expences, invoices...
