Uma Viswanathan
Regine served as our Country Program Officer for Nouvelle Vie Haiti. Hired in the chaotic aftermath of the earthquake, she quickly oriented herself to the dynamic demands of her role, ranging from community organizing and strategic partnerships to program planning and budgeting. Regine was highly effective at establishing Nouvelle Vie among the many other NGOs and humanitarian organizations, both among the UN and international aid agencies, including Cluster meetings, and among Haitian-led community organizations and coalitions. In her subsequent role at DAI, Regine managed Nouvelle Vie's $100,000 grant from USAID. She was diligent, communicative, and responsive to our dynamic programmatic needs. Regine is a pleasure to work with. She is dedicated, diligent, and resourceful, with the personality and networks to successfully navigate Haiti's dynamic and challenging social, economic, and political landscape.

If we can change the behavior and thinking about the value of trash — what other powerful constructs can be broken? I created WasteWorks as an answer to the limitations of our economy. WasteWorks diverts trash from landfills by incentivizing waste separation at the source.
