  Assembles and Pressure Tests assemblies according to specifications •Interprets drawings and procedures to complete requirements (some previous experience necessary) •Utilizes and interprets schematics and Bills of Material (BOM) •Completes required test documentation including test reports, failed test reports and non-conformance reports (NCR) •Performs FAT’s (Factory AcceptanceTests) •Prepares, maintains, and utilizes test cells and test equipment for FAT •Resolves most questions and problems in mastered assemblies •Will assist in orienting, training, and checking the work of less experienced assemblers as technician progresses •Will utilize MES software to maintain accuracy of shop floor work flow and billable time •Willutilize forklifts, overhead cranes, and jib cranes for heavy equipment movement •Utilizes hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices such as pressure gages (previous experience necessary) •Maintain a clean working environment at all times •Will be required to fill out data books regarding assembly and FAT for documentation records •Utilize computers/workstations to complete tasks Show less
