I joined the Clean Combustion Center (CCRC) as part of the VSRP program. The CCRC group develops kinetic models that can be used to simulate fuel combustion and pollutant formation. Part of my activities were: • Simulation of oxidation of reference fuels• Oxidation of reference fuels in jet stirred reactor• Analysis of oxidation products using GC-MS I joined the Clean Combustion Center (CCRC) as part of the VSRP program. I was part of an industry collaboration project with "Plastiglass de Mexico" , where I was in charge of the simulation and optimization of the methyl methacrylate polymerization reactor for a new pilot plant. The main activities I performed were: - Matlab kinetic modelling of the free radical polymerization - Optimization through metaheuristic algorithms- Reactor design I was part of an industry collaboration project with "Plastiglass de Mexico" , where I was in charge of the simulation and optimization of the methyl methacrylate polymerization reactor for a new pilot plant.
