Managing a small and environment friendly, farm-to-table business of lichees and mangos. From kibbutz Moran beautiful orchards above the see of galilee, to the homes of thousands of people in the north district of Israel. First summer I was a "one man show" and took care of all the business aspects; finance, procurement, publishing, picking, packaging, delivering, customer service etc. In the second summer I employed one employee to help with the fruit management, so I could focus more on the office and management work. As a first step towards saving the planet, I relocated and renovated (with the help of friends of course) an old container, to a small, community, second hand shop, at the center of kibbutz moran, my hometown. After operating the store for six months, I gave it to my mom, and until this day, it provides my mom a small income, and a great service for the community.
