In this role, I acted as the bridge between the physician and patient; responsibility and communication skills were key to thrive in the clinic. Additionally, being organized was an asset to ensure that the patient’s documents were never misplaced. I also learned a lot about the patient-doctor relationship and became familiar with many common medications. Overall, I believe that my experience at the clinic has contributed to me being a well-rounded individual and has heightened my inclination for the well-being of patients and expanding my knowledge in the world of medicine.
