  An Egyptian artist, painter, raised and born in Cairo, Egypt. Graduate from The American University in Cairo with a B. A in Egyptology and Minor Islamic art and Architecture and M. A in Educational Leadership from The American University in Cairo. Mastering many languages (French, English, Spanish, and Arabic) have enabled her to break all barriers when she lived abroad. Lived abroad for over 23 years due to family circumstances between Athens, New Delhi, London and finally settling in New York, where she has enriched her love for painting by visiting museums, monuments, open parks and galleries exposing herself to all sort of taste and artistic moods till she finally landed on her own style of painting in order to excel. Finally, settling in Cairo, where she has been very much influenced by the mystic world of the whirling dervishes with their dance and movement, later on her love of portraits with all expressions and feelings being conveyed to the canvas and with her new abstract modern line. All sort of media paintings has attracted her, from oil on canvas, to acrylic, to water colors to mixed media. Painting for her is a therapy where she indulges in a world looking for a source of positive energy that she reaches once a piece is completed.
