• Assisted in Thermaplate receiving an ASME U & R stamp and National Board of Boilers and Pressure Vessel Inspectors Accreditation. Contributed to writing the weld procedures and the weld demonstration for the inspection. • Did initial testing on a Janda Multi-head Welder to ensure the pillow plates could reach the intended burst pressure to meet a necessary minimum pressure for marketing. • Design shop layout to help ensure a one way flow throughout the shop. • Developed codes in .csv for the Multi-head Welder using a Pinch Point Saftey Systems controller. These codes make it so the Multi-head can weld full plates with minimal human interaction. • Developed weld schedules for the Multi-head and Seam Welder. The controls used are Weld Computer, and Janda J700 and J800 controllers. • Built drawing standards for customer-facing and shop drawings. • Design and Draw approval drawings for potential clients. • Am able to run the following machines in the shop: Shear, Overhead Crane, Multi-head welder, and Seam Welder. I am the primary operator on both machine welders and run them for ASME jobs. • Check-in and log material that comes into the shop following ASME standards. Standards most often followed are SA-240, SA-182, SA-479, and SA-312. • Inflate and leak test pillow plates during production. • QA plates throughout the process of production. • Assist in creating and loading finished plates for shipping.
