Peerless exports trailers to countries all over the world and provides quality heavy duty on-off highway trailers that operate in the harshest climates on earth.Responsibilities include;- Update existing designs for customer specific changes to the trailer model.- Update existing designs for better manufacturability.- Provide support for the sales team in design and quoting process.- Ground-up design of new trailer models and components.- Provide shop support throughout the build process of the trailer.- Working in Creo 2.0 to create a 3D representation of the trailer models to create manufacturing drawings.- Working within AutoCAD to create 2D air and electrical schematics and/or routing diagrams.- Directing/supporting outsourced engineering teams in design projects.

  Responsible for:- Creating production drawing packages for varying projects.- Creating sheet metal nesting G-code for plasma burning using ProNest 2010.- Coordinate with purchasing in ordering all steel and/or purchased components required for the project.- Providing any shop support that was required for the project to be completed correct and on time.- In charge of processing specific client's orders as they come in with the above mentioned responsibilities.Various projects I worked on while at Waycon;- Vibrating shaker screen for separating different size rock.- Copper mine. We (Waycon) built the majority of the components required for a copper mine and shipped them to the location for assembly.- Fruit processing equipment for the orchard industry. Converting many designs from Inventor to Solidworks and making improvements to the designs.- Drilling rig trailer. A small-scale drilling rig mounted to a truck trailer.- Truck snow plow attachment.I also dealt with some parts sales and technical support for a lumber processing head attachment for excavators.
