Whilst completing my degree, I worked through a recruitment agency called Teacher Active as Learning Support, in various schools throughout the west-midlands. Through this, I was able to:- Develop my own time management and organisational skills: Through often attending a new workplace, sometimes daily, including travel times and directions etc. As well as adapting to new rules, policies and expectations with each new workplace.- Handle a heavy workload, efficiently and on short notice: Often upon arrival at a school, I am informed of a number of responsibilities that I will be undertaking throughout the day. At each new workplace and role these vary greatly. I have become efficient at multi-tasking and throughout a working day, as well as promptly adjusting my workload to accommodate for unexpected additional tasks. - Communicate with a range of people from various backgrounds: From working in a number of different schools, I have had the opportunity to deal with people from a number of cultures, backgrounds and beliefs, which has further strengthened my ability to communicate effectively.- Gain a deep understanding of the education sector through various different schools, academies and educational organisations.

I previously worked on the sales team for Metelec Ltd. My responsibilities included: Assisting with sales alongside others on the sales team, dealing with customer needs and queries, and organising transport of goods, both to customers and from stockholders, in addition to general administration duties. This allowed me to:• Develop proficiency with various Microsoft packages: such as Word and Excel.• Build my efficiency in using maths in a sales environment• Multitask and time-keep effectively: The role came with a heavy workload, both dealing with customer queries, dealing with sales, transport of goods and also keeping on top of administration. Alongside this, I assisted with machining of parts through analysing mechanical engineering drawings to advise the engineering team.• Develop Effective Customer Service Skills: Both face to face and through electronic means. Often customers would commend me for this.
