      With black Africans being the second largest group affected by HIV in London my role was to conduct fieldwork research in the community in order for health services to provide more support. Mayisha 2016 is a cross-sectional study targeting black African men and women and the prevalence of HIV in the community. My role was to recruit people to complete the questionnaire and if they are willing, to provide an oral fluid sample. In this role I am gaining the confidence to speak to diverse range of people about HIV and expand my knowledge about it while taking in different attitudes to the subject. Show less

      Researcher at a mental health charity collecting and analysing data regarding housing and associated health outcomes within the deaf community. ​ Project work applying mixed-methods to identify risk factors and incidence of relapse of mental illnesses in Deaf people.
