A semester-long research program in partnership with the Public International Law and Policy Group (PILPG) drafting client-ready legal memoranda on behalf of our clients in Ukraine and conducting negotiation simulations on international legal issues. Research topics include strategies for effective peace negotiations, critical components of post-conflict constitutions, and international best practices for the structure of post-conflict mechanisms. Researched effects of resource wealth, specifically oil and minerals, on countries’ regime type and probability of the onset of violence in those countries for the University of Florida Political Science Department . Analyzed international economic policy research that were shown to offset the negative effects of the “Resource Curse.” Co-authored a report of economic policies that synthesized best economic practices for use by resource-wealthy states.
