  I opened the store, which included setting up the café area, unlocking the doors to the public, counting the safe for the AM, working as opening cashier, ensuring bathroom cleanliness, and restocking where necessary. I also closed the store which included a full store floor sweep, counting the tills at night and preparing them for the next morning, filing paperwork for the day, counting the safe for the PM, and preparing the bank deposit. I managed returns, price changes, special orders, and rainchecks. I picked up cash from cashier's tills when they exceeded their $200 limit.   Worked as a server during weekday evening shifts and serve assist/dishawasher during weekend mornings. Duties included taking orders and serving customers, intermittently checking in on their needs. Phone orders were taken, and to-go bag were prepared with utensils, napkins, salt, pepper, etc. I restocked the tables with things like ketchup and sugar packets, which were set up according to company policy. I was expect to prepare dessert and drink creations myself. I operated the register cashing customers out, and also prepared the cash deposit every night. I did my dishes, bussed my tables (throughout my shift and during close), and cleaned the restaurant (front end and bathrooms) upon close. Show less
