Farm Worker
-
Apr 2016 - Aug 2016
I worked at Merry Lea Sustainable Farm doing jobs that needed to be done such as: weeding, watering, planting, animal chores, food preservation, harvesting, and much more. I worked about 30 hours a week, but was always willing to put in more hours to help around the farm.

Inventory/Gardener
-
Aug 2015 - Dec 2015
I took food and item inventory and entered the information into the computer so it could be sent to corporate. I also helped put the items from the truck into the given places, and occasionally helped with food preparation for catering orders. I created a winter garden for AVI Fresh as a way to extend the harvesting season, as well as provide fresh salad to students during colder months. I planted the seeds, built sun boxes, and watered, weeded, and cleaned, the patio/garden area of the location.
