Jointly responsible with the pilot in command for the preflight planning, delay, and dispatch release of a flight in compliance with federal regulations and operations specifications. Also responsible for monitoring the progress of each flight, issuing necessary information for its safety, and cancelling or redispatching the flight if it can no longer operate safely. Experience with and knowledge of 14 CFR Parts 121, 135, 117, 191, and more. Additional work included but was not limited to research, manual revisions, instructing, and developing training materials.

Dispatch flights according to a planned schedule while addressing issues arising from maintenance, schedule conflicts, weather and other related items. Maintain communication with flight crews. Additional projects were worked on throughout the duration of employment. One of these projects included a Pareto Analysis of all weather cancellations. This was done in an effort to eliminate unnecessary cancellations that caused a delay in the pilots' training.
