At Eversheds Sutherland my key clients include German and Luxembourg open-ended funds, sovereign wealth funds, UK institutional investors and lenders and public bodies. Examples of my recent experience include advising: On the complex variation to a development agreement for lease and surrender relating to a lease of land adjoining Waterloo International Terminal and associated development works to provide a new office-led mixed use scheme On a broad range of matters relating to the Axis site in Birmingham including title, vacant possession strategy and a proposed sale to a developer with related forward funding advice. Both Banks and borrowers on the Real Estate aspects of Facility Agreements and Debentures. Managing the UK Real Estate portfolio of various overseas Real Estate Funds for Credit Suisse. On the leasing and title issues relating to the London Bridge Quarter Estate (including The Shard). On numerous sales and purchases for open-ended funds including a joint venture development On a £400m+ complex development of luxury residential apartments next to Regent’s Park, including refinancing matters. On three transactions worth over £600m for the acquisition of 10 student accommodation properties with over 3,300 beds. I play a key part in business development at Eversheds Sutherland.
